Nobody told you this part.

You have been describing strategic work in low-level language for years. Not because you are not smart enough to know the difference. Because nobody taught you that there was a difference.

What government hiring managers are scanning for:

Operational coordination. Documentation oversight. Policy interpretation. Stakeholder management. Compliance monitoring.

That is not a different job. That is your job described in the language institutions actually recognize.

Same work. Different language. Different paycheck.

This matters most if you are trying to move into analyst roles, operations roles, compliance roles, or government administrative positions. Because those postings are written in a language most helpers were never taught to speak.

And when your resume does not speak that language you get screened out before a human ever reads a word you wrote.

That is the translation gap. And it is fixable.
