One of the biggest misconceptions I see is people saying:

"I feel stuck."

But after talking with them for a few minutes, I realize they're not actually stuck.

They're standing at a crossroads.

They have options.

They have experience.

They have skills.

They have opportunities.

What they don't have is clarity.

Many people spend months or years trying to make the perfect decision.

Should I go back to school?

Should I apply for a promotion?

Should I leave my current role?

Should I pursue government work?

Should I start a business?

Should I stay where I am?

The problem isn't a lack of options.

The problem is trying to achieve certainty before taking action.

Here's what I've learned:

Most people don't need certainty.

They need clarity.

Clarity about what they want.

Clarity about what they qualify for.

Clarity about what problem they're actually trying to solve.

Because once clarity improves, decisions become easier.

This is why I believe:

The life is the goal.

The role is the vehicle.

Before chasing another title, another certification, or another application, ask yourself:

What kind of life am I actually trying to build?

To landing what you've earned,
